Every ToVouch member agrees to these standards when they join. They're not rules for rules' sake — they're the foundation that makes the trust graph worth anything.
A vouch is a public endorsement with your name on it. Only write one if you have direct experience with the person's work or character and would confidently refer them to your closest contacts. A vague or inflated vouch damages both parties.
Every vouch requires a relationship declaration: worked together, hired them, or know them personally. Be truthful. Fabricated relationships undermine the entire trust graph and will result in removal.
When you send a client lead to a partner, you're putting your name behind both the client and the partner. Only refer people you trust — clients who will treat your partner well, and partners who will serve the client with excellence.
When someone sends you a referral, acknowledge it within 48 hours. A referral that sits unanswered reflects on the sender. Respect the trust your partner placed in you.
When a referral converts or falls through, mark it and give honest feedback. The trust score only means something if the data behind it is accurate.
This community is built on shared values. In the feed, in messages, in vouches — treat every interaction as you would in person with someone you respect. No self-promotion spam, no disparagement, no dishonest positioning.
Your faith statement is a personal expression of how your faith shapes your work. It's not a marketing tool. Write it authentically, or leave it blank.
If you have a serious concern about a member's conduct — especially anything that would damage a client or another member — report it privately through the platform. Do not post publicly about disputes. The admin team will review every report.
When sending referrals, share only what the receiving partner needs. Never share a client's contact details without their knowledge. Handle referral information with discretion.
If someone you vouched for acts in a way that would make you regret the vouch, withdraw it. That's not a betrayal — it's accountability. The vouch was for who they were when you wrote it.
The admin team reviews all member reports privately. Depending on the severity and whether it's a first or repeated issue:
These standards are who we are.
Not terms of service. Not fine print. The actual values we ask every member to live out inside this community.
